The city will celebrate the suggestion of the historical moment that marked the passage of Perugia from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance one of the brightest periods in Perugia's history.
An year after the centenary of the beginning of the signing of Fortebraccio da Montone on the city of Perugia, the secon edition.
The historical reenactment is basedd on the figure of FORTEBRACCIO to whom the keys and the city government were delivered after the victory in the battle of Sant 'Egidio, fought on July 12, 1416
Perugia 1416 is based on the involvement of the five districts of the city (Porta di Eburnea, Porta di San Pietro, Ward of Porta Sant'Angelo, Porta di Santa Susanna and Rione di Porta Sole) and aims above all to favor the active participation of Town and district population.
A Rione representative will coordinate actions and participants within the walls and in the countryside. According to the use of that peroiod, each person involved in the reenactment will be nominated: wise, boss, hood, and so on.
Particular space will also be given to other historic reenactmentes, inviting their delegates to participate in the procession and other events. But it is not just a simple parade or an end to itself, but an operation that involves continuously and progressively engaging the population and operators.
